2024-2025 President's Message
Dear Members and Guests,
On behalf of the Florida School Plant Management Association, it is my honor and privilege to welcome you to the 2025 FSPMA Annual Conference. As we gather for the conference, we are reminded of the vital role that facilities management plays in the success of our schools and the future of our students.
Having been involved with this association for several years, I can personally attest to how invaluable the learning and networking opportunities have been. Through FSPMA, I have gained knowledge and skills to better serve my community as well as the chance to connect with so many dedicated professionals who share the same passion for excellence in school plant management. These relationships and experiences have been fundamental to my growth, and I am excited to see all of you take advantage of the same opportunities.
I would also like to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Board of Directors for providing me with the opportunity to serve as your President for the 2024-2025 term. It is a true honor to be part of an organization so dedicated to enhancing the learning environments for students across our great state. I am excited to work alongside such a talented and committed group of professionals, and I look forward to continuing the important work we’ve been doing together.
This year’s conference theme, "Tomorrow's Leaders: Cultivating a Culture of Efficiency and Excellence," reflects our shared vision for the future of school plant management. We are committed to fostering a culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, innovative solutions, and a dedication to excellence. Our work today impacts the leaders of tomorrow, and it is through our collective efforts that we can create learning environments that support the growth, success, and well-being of students and staff alike.
Along with the Board, we have already begun working behind the scenes to expand learning opportunities for everyone as we prepare for the September 2025 conference. Our goal is to offer even more relevant and impactful professional development experiences that will help you continue to lead with efficiency, creativity, and excellence in your roles.
The FSPMA is here to support you—the dedicated individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our school facilities are safe, efficient, and conducive to learning. Whether you’re a seasoned member or a new face to the association, we are here to provide you with the tools, resources, and support needed to excel in your role. Collaboration, shared knowledge, and best practices are the foundation of our success, and together, we can continue to strengthen the learning environments across Florida.
